Spring is here!  The sky is blue.  The grass is green and giving all of us with hay fever fits.  And the bulbs are just starting to bloom.  Breathe deep and take a little time out for yourself.  Here's my wish list of spring-time do's.  What's on your list?

  • Work in the garden.  Has it really been six months since I've planted anything?  I must have planted bulbs in December, I just can't remember.  I'm not much of a weed puller, but I do enjoy planting little things with my trowel.

  • Prop my feet up in the sun.  Well, having three kids in baseball/softball, I do a lot of this.  Maybe this year I'll remember the sun screen early on.

  • Spread my reading wings.  I read a lot of romance - now there's a surprise.  Come spring, I try and remind myself to read other things.  Currently in my TBR pile - Guilty Pleasures (Laurell K. Hamilton, horror - a fast read), How Not to Spend Your Senior Year - Who says a ghost can't run for prom queen? (Cameron Dokey, who could resist the title of this teen romp?  I recently read "Knocked Out by My Nunga Nungas and loved it!), I Don't Know How She Does It (Allison Pearson, okay, so I'm behind the nation by about 8 months in reading this one, but it is soooo my life!), The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency (Alexander McCall Smith).  I did manage to read Brenda Novak's Cold Feet (Excellent!  A mystery that kept me guessing until the very end) and plan to read Suzanne Elizabeth Phillip's Ain't She Sweet soon (yes, yes, that's a romance, but SEP is like a goddess or something).

  • Remember to breathe.  It's funny, isn't it, how we don't stop and just do nothing but breathe.  I plan to breathe and get some exercise (walk the doggos), but I'm a multi-tasking type of gal.  And anytime I can not rush...that's heaven.

Getting Married Again is out!  I'm getting rave reviews - even from the men in my family.  So, you're invited to prop your feet up, breathe, and enjoy the first book in a series about the men and women who risk life and limb to defeat raging wildfires.  Discover the sexy Silver Bend Hot Shots–Wildland Fire Fighters who work, train and love with a passion you'll treasure!  (Read an intro)  Available now on-line or ask your local used bookstore to reserve you a copy!

Enjoy Spring!
