I'm Melinda Curtis, award winning romance author.

Recently I took some time off from writing to take care of life.  I'm part of the sandwiched generation - aging parents, kids just starting to leave for college - and after 9 books in five years I needed a break.  Now I'm back to writing and have discovered things have changed - in the publishing world, in the way I write and in what I like to write about.
